Here is your chance to enlighten me on your favorite extended improvisations and wild space jams. I feel the Dead were jazz rock (rock jazz?), in that they could improvise so long on a theme and segue one song to another.
(I wonder if they ever did "My Favorite Things".)
One of my favorites is the 5/31/92 (Vegas) Space jam w/ recordings of a train, slot machines, etc.
What are your favorites?

The Playin> Jam> MLB Jam on Dick's Picks 14 is amazing- I think it's from 12/1/73. It always reminds me of driving through a thunderstorm.
